I have always loved September, it signifies new beginnings to me. The air here in the northeast begins to cool and the breeze smells so fresh. I excitedly await the crisp Fall days.
I use this transition time to think and make adjustments and additions to my life.
A reset, the ‘start again time’ is where we look without attachment and plan without stress as the days move us closer to Fall. Let’s journal a bit.
- Journal: Take the time to discover your achievements from the past season and set new goals or intentions for the fall.
- A good place to start is with the simple achievements, like reaching out to an old friend, showing up to an event my partner really wanted to attend, finishing a work or home project, holding my tongue when that guy cut me off in traffic, took a class or read a book.
- When it comes to setting goals, I can be inspired if I look around my home. I want to plant fall flowers in my window box, add a brisk walk into my day, do meal planning for my family, and sign up for the pottery class I’ve been wanting to attend.
Warm wishes for a vibrant and peaceful Fall!
