Hi, I’m Paula.
Practice Peace grew from something I’ve learned over many years: peace isn’t something we find once and hold onto. For me, it is something I return to and practice in ordinary moments.
My own practice has taken different forms over the years. Reiki, meditation, TRE®, movement, breath, and simply learning to notice what is happening in my body and in the moment.
My Reiki Journey
I began studying Reiki in 2006, during a time when our family was navigating our young son’s developmental needs. I was looking for something that could help me find steadiness and support during a period that held a lot of uncertainty.

Reiki became part of that support. What began as curiosity grew into a personal practice, and over time I continued my training through Reiki Level 1, Level 2, and Reiki Master.
Reiki remains part of my morning practice today, a time for stillness, grounding, meditation, and preparing to meet the day with a little more awareness.
Finding TRE®
During COVID, I was introduced to TRE® through a holistic practice offering TRE® on Zoom. I was surprised by how naturally my body responded to the practice and by what I began to notice when I gave my body space to move and release tension.
That experience eventually led me to train as a TRE® facilitator.
Reiki and TRE® are different practices, but for me they share something important: neither is about forcing ourselves to feel a certain way. They offer opportunities to slow down, become curious, notice, and listen.
Practice Peace
Practice Peace is a place to explore simple ways of reconnecting with yourself through TRE®, Reiki, and the everyday practices that help create a little more space in our lives.

I don’t believe we need to do all of these things perfectly or even every day. Practice is simply something we return to.
Sometimes that means meditation or Reiki. Sometimes it means allowing the body to tremor through TRE®. And sometimes it may be as ordinary as sitting quietly with a cup of coffee, stepping outside, taking a breath, or noticing that we need rest.
Notice. Feel. Return.
Where would you have me go?
What would you have me do?
What would you have me say, and to whom?
