Three Diamonds

The three diamonds of Earth Ki, Heaven Ki, and Heart Ki are the corner stone of the system of Reiki.

Three Energy Centers:

a. Earth Energy – Hara, 3 inches below the navel

• Hara is your core energy center—your essence of life and purpose. Most importantly, it serves as your energetic connection to the universal life force. Symbolically, Hara represents the energetic center for Earth Ki.

b. Heavenly Energy – Head

• This energy is connected to your spirit. Maintaining balance is essential to staying centered. When used harmoniously, this energy allows you to see beyond the present. Symbolically, it represents the energetic center for Heaven Ki.

c. Heart Energy – Heart

• This energy is connected to emotions—it is “human” energy tied to your human experience. This center is where you learn life’s process. From childhood to adulthood and back to being a child, but with experience. Symbolically, it is the energetic center for Heart Ki.

Rest your hands on one or more of your energy centers. Breathe deeply. Let your belly expand with each inhale. As you exhale, release tension and allow your energy to flow freely. Feel yourself grounding into the present moment, connected to the vast universe around you.
